Wallpo: 3D live wallpaper

What it does

Wallpo: 3D live wallpaper is a personalization app for choosing moving, depth-effect backgrounds for an Android screen. It suits people who want more than a still image and are willing to trade some simplicity for animation. The available scenes include themes such as city views and space, with effects that can respond to device movement or interaction.

Controls and effects

Wallpo offers settings for adjusting aspects of the animation, including its speed and direction. Some wallpapers can also show weather-like effects such as rain or snow. That makes the app more configurable than a basic wallpaper picker, though the main purpose remains visual: it changes how the screen looks rather than adding a practical phone tool.

What it asks of the phone

Animated 3D scenes require more graphics work than a static background. Their effect on battery life and smoothness will depend on the phone, the selected wallpaper and how it is used. Anyone prioritizing low power use or a completely still home screen may prefer a standard image instead. Wallpo is best considered by previewing the motion and deciding whether it suits the device and daily use.

Standing and track record

Compared with static wallpaper apps, Wallpo’s distinction is movement and adjustable visual effects; compared with other live-wallpaper options, the relevant question is whether its scenes and controls match a user’s taste. It has a 4.3 out of 5 rating from 36,761 reviews and more than 1,000,000 installs, indicating a substantial audience, though those figures do not establish how it will perform on a particular phone. The developer is Poison Studio LLC.
