Golf King - World Tour

What it is

Golf King - World Tour is an online golf game built around one-on-one matches. Players take shots on 3D courses, compete for trophies and progress through tours. Its swipe-and-release controls are intended to make each shot quick to set up, while club choice and upgrades add a layer of equipment management.

Who it suits

The format is aimed at people who want short competitive golf games rather than a detailed golf simulation. Matches against other players are the main draw; friends can also play together. Character appearance can be customized, and the game includes leaderboards and leagues for players who want goals beyond individual matches.

Progress and trade-offs

Winning matches earns trophies that open higher tours. Players can collect and upgrade clubs, so progression involves improving equipment as well as learning how to place shots. That gives the game more to manage than a basic casual golf game, but it also means the experience is tied to its online competition and progression systems. It is not suited to playing without a network connection.

Use and standing

Golf King requires an internet connection. The reference information lists storage as an optional permission, used for saving and loading game configurations and caches. RisingWings is the developer. With a 4.58 rating from about 679,000 ratings and more than 10 million installs, it has a substantial audience for this particular mix of multiplayer golf and equipment progression. Those figures indicate reach and user feedback, but do not establish whether its competitive style will suit every player.
