beIN SPORTS

What it does

beIN SPORTS is a sports news and match-following app from beIN MEDIA GROUP. It brings together sports articles, video highlights, scores and standings, with options to follow selected sports, leagues and teams. It suits fans who want results and coverage in one place, especially those who like to keep up with particular teams rather than browse every sport.

Following matches and teams

You can tailor the app’s feed around your choices and receive alerts about events such as goals during live matches. That makes it useful for checking in when you cannot watch, though alerts are supplementary: they are not a substitute for a live broadcast. Video highlights and news are aimed at fans who want a quick account of key moments as well as match outcomes.

What to expect on your device

Scores, news and video need an internet connection to stay current, and video is likely to use more data than reading text. Match alerts depend on notifications being enabled on the device. If you prefer a quiet phone, you can rely on opening the app to check updates instead. The supplied information does not specify other device requirements.

Where it fits

Unlike a dedicated score tracker, beIN SPORTS combines results with editorial coverage and highlights. Its value will depend partly on whether its coverage matches the sports and competitions you follow. It has more than 10 million installs and a 4.6-star rating from about 218,000 ratings, indicating a substantial audience, though those figures do not guarantee that its coverage or alert timing will suit every fan.
